Paul Vollman

Paul Vollman is a fine artist whose broad body of work includes oils, acrylics and sketches.

Vollman's ever-evolving style bridges a gap between impressionism and realism often through the use of bold color and unique perspective.  Vollman focuses heavily on capturing both light and movement in his figure and landscape paintings.

As a native of Cincinnati, Vollman has drawn much inspiration from the movement of water as seen in his deconstructed images of the Tyler Davidson Fountain as well as of the Ohio River Valley.

Vollman is a primarily self-taught artist who began his career in mechanical engineering and later became a medical malpractice attorney.

In guiding his own artistic training, he has developed a unique, award winning style.

Vollman's credits include First Place honors in the Hyde Park Art Show, the Duvenek Art Show, the Behringer Crawford Museum's "Fresh Art" competition, as well as acceptance into the Cincinnati Art Club's prestigious national "Viewpoint" show and the Westport Connecticut Art Fair.  Vollman's art has shown in Cincinnati galleries including the Mary Ran Gallery, Women's Art Club,  Art Design Consultants, and Cincinnati Art Galleries.  In addition, his works can be found in galleries in Knoxville, TN and Indianapolis, IN.  Vollman's paintings have also been found in numerous public and private collections including the Cincinnatian Hotel, the Cincinnati Financial Corporation, and President George Herbert Walker Bush.

Paul Vollman is a current member and past board member of the Cincinnati Art Club,  and a member of Oil Painters of America and the Portrait Society of America.

Vollman resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Sarah and twin sons, Owen and Grant.
