Otis Cook (American, 1900-1980) was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts in 1900, but lived the majority of his life in Rockport. He studied painting at the Swain School of Design in New Bedford, MA, and with Emil Gruppe in Gloucester. His work has been widely exhibited and has won many awards. Cook’s paintings are in the permanent collections of major museums and private collections across America.
