"Inspiration comes after I begin, I don't wait for it, I begin and the spirit finds me. It is like stepping onto an invisible bridge in the manner of Indiana Jones. I see the bridge in my heart and mind's eye and I take a step into the unknown. We call it magic when a magician waves his hand and a rabbit or dove appears. In the artist's studio, the artist with paint and brushes renders his vision on a blank canvas and a whole world appears from nothing. I feel like a combination of magician and conductor, I connect the dots of light.”

Klein’s practice spans classical realism, impressionism, pointillism and paintings done en plein-air. He often puts surprises and symbols and small surprises often hide within his works, rewarding those who look closely.

In addition to his own practice, Keith teaches oil, acrylic, pastel, and watercolor classes five days a week in his studio. He studied for many years with Anneliese Wahrenburg at her Atelier, and he often carries her methods into his teaching. Many of his students go on to attend the Governor’s School for the Arts or earn full college scholarships. He has a special gift for working with children and adults with special needs, bringing patience, encouragement, and joy to the process of making art.

Klein's work is represented in prestigious collections, including the royal family of Saudi Arabia, Cincinnati Bell, Convergys, Cincinnati Financial, and numerous private collections across the United States.
