Daniel Austin Ackles

Austin Ackles is a multidisciplinary artist whose work has been featured in books, magazines, newspapers, and dozens of exhibitions. A recipient of the Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant and, more recently, support from the Kresge Foundation, Ackles brings a dynamic and layered perspective to contemporary art practice.

With a background that spans fine art, design, and creative direction, Ackles has contributed to both commercial and independent creative ventures from working with an award-winning metalsmith and managing a SoHo design retail space, to helping build and run a New York City art gallery.
