Charles Frank Arcieri
1885-1945
Charles Frank Arcieri was born on November 11, 1885 in San Francisco, California. He is best known for his figure and landscape paintings, as well as his illustrations. He studied under Charles Chapel Judson, Frank von Sloun, and Theodore Wores at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute in San Francisco. ( The Institute was destroyed by the earthquake and fire in 1906.) By 1933, he moved and became a resident of Grantwood, New Jersey. Furthermore, in 1933 he became a member of the Allied Artists of America. Arcieri died in 1945.
