Charlotte Frimodt (Danish 1862-1950) learned the art of flower painting from the artists Anthonore Christensen, C.M. Soya-Jensen and Charlotte Sode. She is most famous for her botanical studies but also enjoyed painting historic homes, estates and castles. She also briefly worked at the Royal Copenhagen porcelain factory. Under the direction of Jens Moeller-Jensen, Frimodt carried out decoration work for the town hall in Copenhagen. Her works have been widely exhibited in Denmark, most notably at Charlottenborg.
